GARIMA SKILLING PROGRAM
GARIMA is Zindgi Smile Foundation’s professional livelihood skilling initiative, supported by Diversey, to dignify and upgrade the housekeeping profession. Many youth enter work without training, respect or progression—GARIMA changes this through scientific cleaning, safety standards and job-linked skilling.
Trainees learn the “why” behind SOPs, master machines & chemicals, and build soft skills (communication, grooming, discipline). With placement support and follow-up, participants move into the organized sector with dignity.


Training Modules
- Scientific Cleaning: Surface types, sequencing, dilution ratios, checklists & SOPs.
- Equipment & Chemicals: Auto-scrubbers, mops, vacuums, safe handling & MSDS basics.
- Hygiene & Safety: PPE usage, infection control, waste segregation, incident reporting.
- Soft Skills & Etiquette: Grooming, communication, teamwork, time & shift discipline.
- Work Readiness: CV support, mock interviews, workplace rights & customer service.
Pathway to Employment
Strong employer connect with facility management companies, hospitals, hotels and malls. Practice-heavy training with exposure visits, guest talks, job fairs and post-placement follow-up for stability and growth.
