SELF-DEFENSE TRAINING

Zindgi Smile Foundation (ZSF) conducts Self-Defense Training to build confidence, situational awareness and practical safety for women and adolescent girls. Sessions are delivered with certified coaches from the Pencak Silat Sports Association of Delhi, with a strong emphasis on hands-on practice and safety-first habits.

A compact 4-day intensive takes participants from awareness and stance to breakaway techniques, voice control and safe exit strategy—ending with a brief assessment and certificate of completion.

Training Modules

  • Situational Awareness: scanning, distance, safer choices & exits.
  • Stance, Guard & Balance: posture, movement angles, shielding.
  • Breakaways: wrist-grabs, hair-pull, bear-hug, choke (escape & disengage).
  • Voice & De-escalation: boundary setting, alert calls, crowd cues.
  • Safe Exit & After-Action: leaving the scene, basic first-aid & reporting.
